Milestones

We hit a lot of milestones today.  We crossed a state line for the first time in almost a month as we entered Oregon.  We said goodbye to the Pacific which had been our front yard every morning.  We turned East for the first time all trip.  We drove the car through a tree.

And we saw our first elk and our first live banana slug.  Candidly, the elk were more handsome.....
